I like the idea of a humane mouse trap. I can't use poison to rid myself of a rodent problem because I have a child and two cats. I have used traps that kill mice before. I hate looking at the dead mouse's body. It is too gruesome. Also, if the trap doesn't kill the mouse instantly, I hate that it suffered. There was a time a mouse got stuck in a trap but it was still alive and I had to free it. Mice carry disease and I don't want them in my home. I don't want them ripping open pasta bags and making a mess.
You spread peanut butter in the lid, the mouse walks in and the weight of the mouse tips the trap so that the door closes. Then the idea is to carry the mouse somewhere outside away from the home to release it. 4 stars.
➋ CHILD & PET SAFE ➔ This method avoids the need to use glue traps, poison or snap traps to catch that loose mouse in the house. Very safe to use even with children around, unlike the use of mouse poison pellets which may be ingested accidentally by little children.
